Annalee Valencia-Bruch
Art Director/Graphic Designer/Illustrator

I began working in the music industry in 1990 in the A&R department for Capitol Records. After a year and a half moved over to Warner Bros. Records and worked in the studio for producer Russ Titelman with artists such as Eric Clapton, Chaka Khan, Michael McDonald and Jenny Muldaur. In 1993 managed the Art Department for Chameleon Records, a small independent record label that was an affiliate of Elektra Records. In 2000 I was contracted by Universal Records to take an ongoing role as Art Director and Graphic Designer with the company. I worked closely with Universal/Motown/Republic artists in creating their CD packaging and overall campaign design. In 2004 I established my own independent design and production company. I have also worked on various independent and feature films as lead Art Director. I continue to work in the music industry but have also branched out to other areas of the art world such as licensing, fashion and childrens book illustration. I have a passion for anything creative.

A member of NARAS for the past 20 years. I served as a judge for two years on the Official Grammy committee for CD packaging design.

I currently reside in Park Slope, NY with my photographer extraordinaire husband Jimmy, my rockin' son Jagger James, insane (yet loveable) cat Booger and my most awesome dog Boo. The newest addition to this artsy crew is a persian kitten named Sugar.
